This is a fantastic turkey disguise project that would be fun for the whole family. Mr. Turkey doesn’t want to be eaten for this Thanksgiving dinner, so he needs to be disguised. Kids dress up Mr. Turkey so that he will not be found.

How to disguise a turkey:


Step 1. Plan your disguise.
Step 2. Create your disguise. You may cut out Mr. Turkey’s template and glue it to the cardstock paper. Color and disguise Mr. Turkey completely. You can use crayons, markers, beads, glitter, pom-poms, fabric, ribbons, feathers, cotton balls, sequins, and other art supplies and crafts. Be creative!
Step 3. Return disguised Mr. Turkey by the due date and complete a writing assignment in class. Optional, your students can complete writing assignments at home and return to class.
