Project Description

Cursive Letters A-Z | Cursive Handwriting Practice

Cursive Handwriting Practice

Teaching kids how to write in cursive requires lots of modelling, guided practice, and independent practice. Introduce letters in an order that groups similarly formed letters together. This way, kids gain practice and learn similar pathways as they form letters, before starting a new group of letters.

The following is an example of groups of letters that are formed using common pathways:
c, a, d, g, q
i, t, p, u, w, j
e, l, f, h
k, r, s
b, o, v
m, n, y, x, z
