TOUCH AND READ:
Place your finger on the dot below each “did” word.
As you touch each word, say it out loud: “did.” (did, did, did, did)
Repeat this all four time.

READ AND FIND:
Look at the passage below.
Use a highlighter or crayon to highlight every time you see the word “did.” (highlighted did)
As you highlight each “did,” say it out loud: “did.” (did, did, did, did, did, did, did)

READING FLUENCY:
Read the entire passage from the beginning.
Each time you read, color one apple. (colored apple 1, apple 2, apple 3)
Remember to read slowly and clearly to help you remember the word “did.”

COUNT AND WRITE:
Count how many times you found the word “did” in the passage. (7 times)
Write the number in the space provided. (7)

WRITE THE SENTENCE:
Choose your favorite sentence from the passage. (I did my work.)
Carefully rewrite the sentence.
Remember to start the sentence with a capital letter and end with a period. (I did my work.)

DRAW A PICTURE:
Think about the sentence you wrote.
Draw a picture that matches your sentence in the provided box. (Picture of a child doing their work)
