AP Word Family Pocket Cards

These AP word family pocket cards are great for practicing phoneme manipulation and teaching kids how to substitute the beginning sound.

How to use AP word family pocket cards:
Print and cut out cards following the dotted line.
Put the card with the word CAP up so each child can see it. Say the word aloud. Ask children to replace the first sound in the word CAP with /m/ (MAP). Put the word MAP up so each child can see it. Repeat all words.

Children fluent in CVC words (tap, cap, gap, nap, map) can practice more complex words (wrap, trap, clap).

Printing options: in color and black lines.
