How to use this worksheet:
Cut out two parts of ED word family wheel spinner. Using the brad, connect the top and the bottom layers.
Step 1. Spin the wheel and look at the picture (BED). Say the word aloud, and let the child identify the vowel sound in the word BED. /e/ Then, ask the child to say the ending rime -ed.
Step 2. Repeat the word and ask the child to say the initial sound in the word BED and then the rest of the word. /b/
