How to use EN word family mini-book:
Cut the pages following the dotted line. Fold four sheets and staple them.
Step 1. Ask the child to read the rime … -en on the cover, then open the book.
Step 2. Ask the child to look at the picture and say the word aloud – HEN. Ask the child to read and trace the rime -en.
What letter spells the short vowel sound /e/? (e) Write the letter e.
