How to use EN word family pocket cards:
Print and cut out cards following the dotted line.
Put the card with the word HEN up so each child can see it. Say the word aloud. Ask children to replace the first sound in the word HEN with /m/ (MEN). Put the word MEN up so each child can see it. Repeat all words.
Children fluent in CVC words (pen, hen, ten, men, Ben) can practice more complex words (wren, pigpen, glen).
