Decoding The Sight Word GOOD

Orthographic mapping involves the formation of letter-sound connections. It extracts the word’s spelling and stores it in long-term memory as a sight word.

Page 1.
Name the word. Say the word GOOD. Ask the child to repeat the word GOOD.
Name the individual phonemes. Point out that the word GOOD has three phonemes.
