Decoding The Sight Word GOT

Orthographic mapping involves the formation of letter-sound connections. It extracts the word’s spelling and stores it in long-term memory as a sight word.

Page 1.
Name the word. Say the word GOT. Ask the child to repeat the word GOT.
Name the individual phonemes. Point out that the word GOT has three phonemes.
