Decoding The Sight Word PRETTY

Orthographic mapping involves the formation of letter-sound connections. It extracts the word’s spelling and stores it in long-term memory as a sight word.

Page 1.
Name the word. Say the word PRETTY. Ask the child to repeat the word PRETTY.
