Decoding The Sight Word THERE

Orthographic mapping involves the formation of letter-sound connections. It extracts the word’s spelling and stores it in long-term memory as a sight word.

Page 1.
Name the word. Say the word THERE. Ask the child to repeat the word THERE.
Name the individual phonemes. Point out that the word THERE has two phonemes.
