Decoding The Sight Word THREE

Orthographic mapping involves the formation of letter-sound connections. It extracts the word’s spelling and stores it in long-term memory as a sight word.

Page 1.
Name the word. Say the word THREE. Ask the child to repeat the word THREE.
Name the individual phonemes. Point out that the word THREE has three phonemes.
