Summer Creative Story Starter #7

One of the most challenging parts of creative writing is getting a new piece started. Once kids get started, the story begins to flow.

In this story: Joe put his goggles on and got ready to jump in the pool.
“Joe, where did you go?” his mother asked.
“I’m right here,” he replied. He was standing right beside her!
“Has anyone seen Joe?” his mother asked, looking around.
What was going on? Could it be that Joe’s goggles had made him invisible?

The printable has different variations and based on the grade-appropriate horizontal ruling. Kids practice reading in manuscript or cursive and can choose a handwriting style.
