How to use this worksheet:
Step 1. Ask the child to look at the picture and say the word JET. Find the word JET in the provided word bank and underline it. Ask the child to point to the word JET and read it aloud.
Step 2. Write the word JET under the picture. What letter spells the sound /j/? (j) Write the letter j. What letter spells the short vowel sound /e/? (e) Write the letter e. What letter spells the sound /t/? (t) Write the letter t. How do you spell the word cab? J-E-T
Repeat all words.
Optional Step. Ask the child to orally generate a sentence using the word JET (or any other word from the word bank).
